Itinerary

  • 13:40 | Cusco Cathedral: Guided tour of the city’s main temple to appreciate its colonial architecture and “Escuela Cusqueña” (Cusco School) paintings.
  • 14:30 | Qoricancha Temple: Tour of the “Temple of the Sun,” the most important religious center of the Inca Empire, where the Convent of Santo Domingo stands today.
  • 15:30 | Sacsayhuamán Fortress: Transport to the outskirts to visit this impressive megalithic construction featuring zigzagging walls.
  • 16:30 | Q’enqo Archaeological Center: Exploration of this ritual center and its underground chamber carved into limestone.
  • 17:15 | Puca Pucara: Visit to the “Red Fortress,” an ancient military outpost and checkpoint for entering the Inca capital.
  • 17:45 | Tambomachay: Final stop at the temple dedicated to the cult of water, famous for its Inca fountains and aqueducts.
  • 18:30 | Return to Cusco: Transfer back to the city, ending the service near the Plaza de Armas.
