  • Pick-up and Transfer: We pick you up from your hotel early (approx. 5:30 AM) for a private transport journey to Km 82, the official checkpoint.
  • Start of the March: We will cross the Urubamba River to begin a gentle hike. We will enjoy a privileged view of the Llactapata archaeological site and the Veronica glacier.
  • Mountain Lunch: Our chef will prepare a hot and nutritious lunch at a private spot.
  • Campsite: We continue the ascent to Ayapata (3,300 m). This campsite is strategic: it is quieter than others and allows us to get ahead for the following day.
  • Distance: 14 km / Time: 6-7 hours.

  • DAY 2: The Challenge of the Heights (Ayapata – Pacaymayo)
  • The Great Challenge: This is the most physically intense day. We will ascend original stone steps surrounded by Polylepis (queñuales) forests.
  • The Conquest: We will reach the highest point of the route, where we will enjoy a symbolic ceremony and 360° views of the mountain range’s glaciers.
  • Descent: We will descend to the Pacaymayo valley (3,600 m). Here, an afternoon tea (Happy Hour) with hot drinks and a restorative dinner awaits us to recover energy.
  • Distance: 16 km / Time: 8-9 hours.
  • DAY 3: The Path of the Clouds (Pacaymayo – Wiñayhuayna)
  • Archaeological Route: We will visit the sites of Runkurakay and Sayacmarca, jewels of Inca architecture in almost inaccessible places.
  • Living Nature: We will pass through tunnels carved in rock and enter the “cloud forest,” a green landscape full of orchids and exotic birds.
  • The Great Treasure: Arrival at Wiñayhuayna, considered the most beautiful site on the route due to its impressive agricultural terraces facing the river.
  • Distance: 10 km / Time: 5 hours.

  • DAY 4: The Glory at Machu Picchu (Sun Gate – Return)
  • The Sunrise: We wake up very early (3:30 AM) to be among the first to arrive at Inti Punku (Sun Gate).
  • The Reward: We will see how the first rays of sun illuminate the citadel of Machu Picchu at our feet. An unforgettable moment.
  • Guided Tour: A detailed tour of the agricultural and urban sectors of the citadel (approx. 2 hours).
